Welcome to Episode 40 where I focus our conversation on a fascinating discussion with Diana Colleen, author of "They Could Be Saviors", an intriguing fictional story about 5 of the richest Billionaires in the world being subjected to psychedelic therapy as part of a process to convince them to participate in solving the climate crisis.
Diana is an extraordinary woman who has a powerful personal story of growing up severely poor and abandoned by her father. Recurring traumatic experiences led her to attempt suicide and ultimately into psychedelic therapy which she says saved her life.
In the modern economy, we give all economic benefits of new products and services to the innovator who produces the last contribution. Let us consider the first Trillionaire, Elon Musk. Take any one of his innovations:
· Starlink – satellite-based telecommunications
· Tesla - electronic vehicle battery technology
· SpaceX - rocket propulsion technology
Elon Musk did not innovate the science, mathematics or most of the technological innovations that provided the foundation of his claimed innovations. It takes a certain type of person who feels entitled to claim ownership for work produced by many contributors: a Narcissist.
Humans are not inherently narcissistic.
Dr. Jonas Salk developed the Polio vaccine in 1955. When asked why he didn’t patent the innovation, Dr. Salk said it would be like claiming ownership of sunshine.
